The UK based Wileyfox has announced latest Android 7.1.2 Nougat update for Wileyfox Swift 2, Swift 2X and Swift 2Plus. The update comes with build number TOS163B-N2G47H and weighs around 1GB. As the OTA (over the air) update is rolling out in phases, it will take several days to get the update notification on all devices. Users can check the update manually by going to about phone > system update menu.

The 7.1.2 Nougat update (TOS163B-N2G47H) comes with various bug fixes, optimizations and stability improvements. The update also includes very latest Android security patches (June 2017). In addition to the native features of Android 7.1.2 Nougat, Swift 2 series users can enjoy an enhanced experience from an extensively customized feature set.

Wileyfox Swift 2, Swift 2X and Swift 2 Plus was launched with Cyanogen OS (based on Marshmallow). After Cyanogen team stopped up its service last year, Wileyfox promised continued OS update and in April 2017, the company rolled out Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for these devices.

Now, Wileyfox Swift 2 series devices get Android 7.1.2 Nougat update and have become the first non Google device to get Android 7.1.2 update. In my belief, no other devices have received the official Android 7.1.2 update until now, other than Google Nexus and Pixel devices.

If you have not received the OTA notification for the update yet, check it by going to Settings > About Phone > System update. If update found, download and install it. We will update this post with manual installation guide, if firmware file is available for download. (Source – Wileyfox)
