After being rolled out the OxygenOS 4.5.11 update a few days back, OnePlus now starts rolling out a new OxygenOS 4.5.12 update for OnePlus 5. This is a critical bug fixing update, which fixes missing app icon bug found in the previous OxygenOS 4.5.11 update. All OnePlus 5 owners will get the OTA update shortly or download and install the update (OxygenOS 4.5.12 OTA or full firmware) manually.

OxygenOS 4.5.12 is mainly a bug fixing update and fixes bugs found in the previous 4.5.11 build. Compared to the previous build, there are not many changes in this update. Besides fix for the missing icon of downloaded app, the 4.5.12 update includes all the features and fixes included in the OxygenOS 4.5.11.

If you have already updated to OxygenOS 4.5.11, you will receive the OxygenOS 4.5.12 OTA update shortly. Just check it by going to Settings > System Updates > Check for OTA updates. (As the OTA update is rolling out in phases it will take few days to get on all devices).

If you have not received the OTA notification, you can download (OTA or full firmware) and install the update manually.
