Finally, LG G4 has also got updated to Android 7.0 Nougat officially. LG starts rolling out the Android Nougat OTA (over-the-air) update for Korean variants LG G4 (F500K, F500L, F500S) and the update will hit on all devices in the coming days. Official Nougat firmware (KDZ) file is also available for LG G4, which you can download and flash manually using LG Flash tool.

Though LG decided not to provide Android 7.0 Nougat update for LG G4 (as it is a two year old device), later changed their mind due to strong consumer influence. Now, official Android Nougat update became real for LG G4, but currently the update is available for Korean variants of G4, such as F500K, F500L and F500S.

Currently we have no information for International and regional variants of LG G4, but the Android 7.0 Nougat update will likely arrive soon on these variants too. We will update the post once it is available.

Android 7.0 Nougat update will bring various new features like split screen mode, Doze on the move for better battery life, revamped notifications, Settings menu overhaul, and much more to the device.

The Nougat firmware file (KDZ) is now available for manual installation. The update comes as version 30B for the F500L model, which can be downloaded from here.
