MIUI is now recruiting Android Oreo Global Beta testers for Xiaomi Mi 6. Any Mi 6 owners can join the MIUI Oreo Global beta program (no region restriction) and try out the latest software. Recently, Mi 6 and Mi MIX 2 have got MIUI 9 based Android Oreo update as Alpha, so Xaiomi Mi MIX 2 owners can also expect Oreo Global beta program soon.
If you own a Xioami Mi 6 and interested to try the latest Android 8.0 Oreo on it before public get it, here are requirements for joining the MIUI Android Oreo Global Beta program and application dead line. Any users can apply for the beta program and there is no region restriction, but you should apply before 26, December 2017.
Apart from Mi 6 Oreo Beta, Xiaomi is also recruiting MIUI Global Beta ROM testers for Redmi Note 5A and Redmi Note 5A Prime (in India these devices are called Redmi Y1 Lite and Redmi Y1 respectively). However, it seems that the Beta program for these devices will be based on MIUI 9 Nougat.
Below are the pre-requisites for participating in the Mi 6 Oreo Global Beta program.
– Application Deadline: 26, December 2017
– Should have interest to test and some knowledge about ROMs
– Willing to discuss with other members in both QQ Beta group and forum
– QQ is a must, no alternate app
– No region restriction
– Communication language English
– Should have interest to test and some knowledge about ROMs
– Must be active on forum
– Must be using latest MIUI Global Developer ROM

Note that, your device IMEI number is required to join the beta program. Dial *#06# to see IMEI number. You need to input IMEI numbers along with reason for application.
How to Participate Mi 6 Android Oreo Global Beta Program
1. To join the beta program, install Xiaomi MIUI Forum app from Play store or downloading the APK from here.
2. Open the app and on the Homepage, select Recruitment.
3. Fill out your information as stated and tap on the Submit button. You will get a forum PM after approval. That’s it. For more information, visit this MIUI Forum thread.
