Do you own a mobile phone running Google’s Android operating system (Nexus One, Droid, HCT Hero etc.)? Here is a free application RemoteDroid to turn your phone into a wireless keyboard and mouse with touchpad.

RemoteDroid may be useful in situations like when your mouse or keyboard stop working in the middle of an urgent work.

RemoteDroid features the followings:

  • Touch-screen mouse control
  • Two onscreen mouse buttons, with right-click/control-click functionality
  • Use in either portrait or landscape mode
  • Compatible with Mac, Windows and Linux operating systems

Requirements:

  • Java SE Runtime Environment 1.5 or higher.
  • Some sort of network connection (Wi-Fi).
  • A device running the Android operating system.
