With the launch of Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Google has updated the Pixel Launcher 2, which features a new calendar and weather widget on the homescreen. The new widget features calendar event, date and month along with weather details. You can now bring like this widget on any device with a simple app called ‘Another Widget’. The app ‘Another Widget’ is a free downloads on Play store, which can replicate the Pixel 2/Pixel XL 2 calendar and weather widget on any phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and up. The app is very simple to use. After installing the app, just grand permission to access your calendar events and location, the app will do the rest.
Interested users go to Play store [HERE] and install the ‘Another Widget’ app (it is completely free). After installation, go to your widget section and add ‘Another Widget’ widget to your homescreen.
There are not many complicated settings in this app. You can filter your calendar events and change temperature unit measure in the app settings menu. Open the app, grant required permission and then filter your calendar events and if need change temperature unit measure to Celsius or Fahrenheit.
