For majority of features, Action Widgets does not need root access, but to access some core functions, such as power saving mode, reboot to recovery, fast reboot, etc. need root access and Xposed Framework.
Installation and setting up ‘Action Widgets’ is rather simple. Once installed [Download Here], open the app and you will see Action pad, Notification area and widget cards.
Just select which items should be on Action Pad by taping the settings menu next to Action pad. Similarly, you can select items for Notification area. From, widget section, you can add as many widget as you want on homescreen and you can customize the widget with items and color.
