The user interface of MIUI 6, the latest OS for Xiaomi smartphones, is visually stunning and has a flat design. It looks a lot like iOS, iOS 7 in particular. You can experience MIUI 6 UI on your Android phone by installing MIUI Express Launcher. The latest version of the launcher (v.6) will bring MIUI 6 look and feel to your phone.
MIUI Express Launcher has its own dialer app, phonebook app, Market app, as well as its own lockscreen. Also, it is completely different from the conventional Android launcher (it looks a lot like iOS 7) and there is no app drawer.
For your information, the final version of MIUI 6 ROM for Xiaomi devices will be available in the upcoming days and later it will be available for many other devices as a custom ROM. Meanwhile, you can experience MIUI 6 UI on your phone with MIUI Express Lite Launcher.
Installation Instruction
The APK of the launcher is available free from here (required free registration to download). Download and install it (enable other sources in your phone settings). Run the app and make MIUI Express as your default launcher.
The MIUI Lite launcher comes with the MIUI 6 default theme, but you can customize your phone by accessing huge library of themes, wallpapers and ringtones created from top designers (Toolbox – MIUI Express Settings). All themes include icons, status bar style and a lock screen (source).
