If you often access your phone’s messages, notifications, media, camera, contacts and more remotely from your computer, you might have already tried AirDroid or similar alternatives. AirDroid definitely a feature rich app, but requires complex setup, PC client, etc. If AirDroid does not please you, there is a free, simple and easy to use app called AirMore that let you do everything from managing files to sending and receiving messages on your PC’s bigger screen.

AirMore is a simple and effective application to access your phone from your computer. It does not require a PC client to access your phone. In other words, you do not need to install anything on the PC, so it is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux. Just with your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari), you can manage apps, view contacts and messages, and open photos, play videos, view documents you have on the phone.

AirMore does not require any complicated setup. All you need a simple web browser, go to airmore.net, scan the QR code shown with the built-in QR code reader and access the permission. Note that your phone and PC should be connected to a same network.

How to Setup AirMore

1. Go to Google Play store, search for ‘AirMore’ and install the app [HERE]

2. Open a web browser on your computer and go to airmore.com/web.html

3. You should see the QR code. Open AirMore on your phone, tap on ‘Scanner’ and scan the QR code. Access the permission and your phone now be connected to your PC wirelessly.

4. If the QR code method does not work, you can use code connection or hotspot connection.

AirMore is a good alternative to AirDroid, but it misses some features that AirDroid gives, such as call log management, remote use of the camera, etc.
