vCardIO is a freeware application for Android phone that allows you to import and export contacts from or to a vCard (vcf) file on the SD card. Here is how to transfer contacts to your Android phone.

First of all, copy all your contacts from your old phone to a memory card. In Nokia mobile phone, click Options and choose Copy on Memory card and pullout.

Connect your Android to the PC, and then mount your SD card. As soon as your device will detect the memory card, use the application vCardIO to import the vcard to your contacts.

If you have an Android phone, here is a new app called PhoneTell that can display much more info about the caller like their phone number, location, etc.

The application makes use of your contacts list information and publicly available information for this purpose. That means, most probably, you’ll get more info about the caller even if the caller isn’t in your contact file.

Moreover, the application is not just for displaying callers’ information; with a click you can send the caller a short SMS if you decline their call which lets them know you’re busy. PhoneTell can even remind you to return the call.

Here is a quick and simple solution to do so. The add-ons Chrome to Phone (For Google Chrome) and Send to Phone (For Firefox) help to share links of any website, text or image to your Android phone.

It uses Android’s Cloud to Device Messaging service (C2DM) to share links. To work it, install the Google Chrome to Phone apps to your Android device from Android Market (requires Android 2.2 (Froyo) or later) and then install the add-on for Google Chrome or Firefox.

To share a link, simply click on the phone icon and the link will be pushed to your device. You will be required to log in with the same account used by your Android device.
