TwInbox is a plugin for Outlook that enables a powerful and full-featured twitter client inside your Outlook (Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010) email client.
With TwInbox you can quickly update your Twitter status directly from Outlook, receive your friends update, archive, manage, group and search your tweets, upload and post picture files and Outlook email attachments and it also supports multiple Twitter account.
TwInbox is very simple to configure. Download and install the plugin. After installation, a new TwInbox toolbar can be seen at the top of your Outlook window.
Click it and select ‘Option’ to configure your twitter account. Enter twitter username and password (see screenshot)
Click ‘Next’ and create a new Outlook folder for your Twitter messages. Uncheck the option ‘Follow @Techit and click Finish button to complete the setup.
There are a set of other options that you can configure such as playing a sound for new tweets, sorting tweets into sub-folders based on the sender, preview shortened URL, etc.
